Practise match was played between SSAC & RKT on Tuesday, 27th July'10.
Both the teams were evenly placed and the match was played in good spirit.
SSAC was leading 1-0 at half-time. Thanks to wonder strike from Akash Rajput.
Brilliant play by SSAC during both the half's enabled them to secure a victory over RKT. RKT equalised after the break.
Prashant was constantly troubling the RKT defence along with Nitin & Subheesh. Prashant with his speed and technique was a constant threat to RKT defence.
Rikesh gave SSAC the lead after constant pressure from the mid-field.
Third goal came in as a brilliant finish by Regi Thomas. There were many chances which were missed by SSAC players. Scoreline would have been far better, if these chances would have been materialised.
Akash Rajput, Prashant, John, Sagar & Rikesh were the stars of the day.
Anthony Sir and Mr. Sanoj Koran were the managers for RKT & SSAC respectively, were present at the ground.
In this match also, the wings were not used effectively throughout the match.
According to Mr. Sanoj Koran, there were lot of areas, where the players have to concentrate and improve before the next season starts. Pre-season training is going on and there is lot to work upon.
